Who tops in digital labour? Any guesses? India Tops in the supply of ‘Digital Labour’ online labor, according to a recent report, analyzed various platforms that facilitate freelancer-employer transactions.
Oxford Internet Institute has hosted the “iLabour project” to create an Online Labour Index. And the data comes from the beginning of July this year.
The findings were extracted from four online freelancing biggies – Fiverr, PeoplePerHour, Freelancer, and Guru. These sites make for about 40% of the global market in online platform based transactions.
